Tsunami Dance team makes waves at the 9th annual UH Dance Collective

Friday September 26th, 2025 was a night of magic and wonder as the Tsunami dance team performed alongside some of the most talented dancers this side of the Big Island at the UH Dance Collective at UH Hilo Performing Arts Center. This was the 9th edition of this amazing event where some awe inspiring and artistic pieces made their premier to the world.

We are proud of all the dancers who showcased their talent this past Friday and even more praise to our very own, who are some of the youngest and newest dancers to grace the stage. You all deserve the amazing applause we heard as you finished your number. This is just one of many more awesome performances of the season.

A special thank you goes out to the show director/organizer Dori for believing in the talent coming out of Big Wave and giving these dancers a stage to shine on.
